The official t-shirt for the Mark H Taiko School lists some of the principles that make Mark H’s teaching unique. I created the figure to be gender neutral while also conveying energy (and also demonstrating good taiko form!). The combination of Japanese numbers and English text also represents the experience of Americans coming together to play Japanese drums.
